If the skip is placed on your private driveway or garden, no permit is needed. If it goes on a public road or pavement, a council permit is required. We handle the permit application for you — it costs from £75 + VAT and requires 7 working days notice.

We accept garden waste, household waste, scrap metal, soils, bricks, dry waste, wood, plastic, hardcore, paper, and concrete. We cannot accept asbestos, tyres, batteries, gas bottles, hazardous materials, electrical appliances, plasterboard, or paint.

Standard hire periods are 7–14 days. If you need longer, just call us and we can usually extend. Longer hire periods may incur a small additional charge.

For a small garden clear-out, a 4 yard skip is usually enough. For a kitchen or bathroom refit, the 6 yard is our most popular choice. Larger renovations or full house clearances typically need an 8 or 12 yard skip. Not sure? Call us and we'll advise.

All prices displayed are ex. VAT. VAT is charged at the standard rate (currently 20%) and will be shown clearly on your invoice. Permit costs are also subject to VAT.

Yes. We process all collected waste at our licensed Nursling Recycling Facility and divert 95%+ of all material from landfill. This exceeds the national average and reflects our commitment to responsible waste management.

Our standard hire period is 7–14 days, which suits most projects. If you need the skip for longer, call us to arrange an extension — additional charges may apply. We can also collect early if you finish ahead of schedule.
